Why choose a Marquee rather than use another venue?

What area do you cover?
We work throughout the Highlands & Islands which at 30’659km2 is bigger than Belgium!
Do we need to hire furniture from another company?
No! We can supply you with chairs, tables, bar units, snug furniture and coat rails and we shall install the furniture while we are taking care of the marquee too.
What about lighting?
We can supply and install various lighting packages to create the perfect setting for your event.
Let us know what you would like to achieve and we can recommend suitable lighting solutions for you to consider.
What about toilet facilities
As well as marquees that can contain luxury toilet units, we shall organise the toilets too ensuring that the comfort of your guests is never compromised.
Anything else I need to consider?
When designing your marquee there are lots of choices for you to consider. It may be a covered walkway, lounge or chill out area, carpet throughout your marquee, fire pits….. The choices are endless.
What size and type of marquee will I need?
This will depend on how you intend to use the marquee and how many guests you are having. Our modular clear span structures can be configured in lots of ways to create exciting spaces for your event We are of course able to offer you a wide range of structures to meet your vision for the day, If you would like to tell us more about the formalities, hospitality and entertainment you intend having, we can advise on the best marquee for you.
We can provide a site visit where an experienced member of staff can discuss your individual requirements.
How long does it take to erect a marquee?
This will vary depending on size, location and internal finish required.
If the site allows we do endeavour to have your marquee completed a full day before your event allowing you time for any finishing personal touches.
How long is your marquee hire period?
The typical hire covers a 3 day period – allowing a day either side of your event but ultimately the length of hire is by individual arrangement.
Is this going to be expensive?
Our aim is to be competitive and on like for like structures and service you shouldn’t get better value!
We have no hidden costs and we provide a service not just a product!
Do I need to book far in advance?
We do have times of the year which is very busy and our equipment can be fully booked. To ensure you are able to secure your preferred dates and for us to provide a professional service, we suggest you book well in advance of you’re event after you have received your quotation. We appreciate some events cannot be planned so well in advance and are happy to accommodate last minute requests if our stock is available.
Will my caterer require a marquee?
Your individual caterer and final menu choice will dictate the catering marquee size required.
We have lots of options and we can advise you accordingly.
Do we need heaters?
Even with cold weather conditions our marquees are a safe bet for your event. As we supply the North of Scotland we can experience four seasons in one day!
We are happy to reserve heaters for you and assist you in making the right call in the days leading up to your event ensuring you and your guests keep cosy!
What if I need assistance during the event?
As part of your hire we pride ourselves on offering a 24 hour call-out service to ensure your peace of mind. Details will be provided with confirmation of your booking.
You LOVE it and want to book!!
We require a non-refundable deposit of 20% plus VAT of the total price and charges with confirmation of your order. The remaining 80% plus VAT is due 30 days before the delivery date. If you need to cancel your arrangements we have a refund policy and will also try to accommodate any alternative dates you may wish to book.
What electrical supply will be required for heating and lighting?
We can supply super silent generators when required for large events and our marquee heat and light for small and medium marquees can run from a 13amp socket. Check with your venue or marquee site if this is available.
How safe are your marquees? All of the marquees we supply are constructed of fully fire resistant fabric and confirm to stringent BS safety standards. We have full public and employer’s liability cover and all of our marquees are designed to withstand 60mph winds and are securely anchored. Our 12m structures are rated to 80mph,
Can marquees be erected on uneven ground?
In a word, Yes, – marquees can be put up on uneven or sloping ground and sometimes we can use adjustable platforms to even out steeper slopes but this can be costly.
A level site gives best floor finish and is economical in the overall cost of the marquee.
Can a marquee be connected to a building? Yes, our framed marquees can serve as extensions to existing buildings and can also be used as walkways.
Will your marquee damage our garden?
We leave sites as we find them, but occasionally inclement weather can make it difficult for vehicles and equipment not to leave some traces of being there.
Grass does quickly recover and all other areas of your property are treated with care and attention.
